We recently had a first at BIS: a couple of weeks ago we received our first Chloe Paddington bag! Yes, the kind that all those swanky models, fashionistas, and other photogenic people are wearing in all of those Hollywood rags like US Weekly, OK, etc. Needless to say, we were delighted. Mind you, this was still the classic and standard black leather Paddington bag with the big brass lock wrapped in leather. Nothing inherently different from some of the newer and flashier Paddingtons that are springing up, but just as HHHHHEEEEEEAAAVVYYY… Make no mistake ladies, you can defend your life if ever threatened, with a quick swing of the bag.

One of our regulars came in and gobbled up the bag within 30 seconds of laying her eyes on it. Her vow: she has been waiting at Chloe for the bag and was never satisfied with an order, and she didn’t feel comfortable with buying it on eBay. When she saw that we had the full authenticity cards and sleeper bag, the proverbial nail was in the proverbial coffin! For the record, the bag was $600, a fraction of the $1399 retail.
